Cedar Lake

I'll be an idiot if I ever move away from Minneapolis. There are lakes, parks, streams, and rivers that can whisk you away all within the city limits. Here are a couple shots from today's excursion to Cedar Lake. These photos were taken with a Lensbaby 2.0.

OK that's like wow. I've used similar lenses on motion cameras like Arriflex but I had no idea they have something similar for still cameras.

I'm inspired to make my own lens now like that with parts I have laying around.

You may dig tilt-shift photography too.

It's a lot of fun to make fake miniatures with it.

I'm a huge fan of tilt-shift photography. Most of my experience with it however is of the fake photoshopped kind

I'd love to see a post about how you make your own lens baby with some photos!

Thanks for the link from your blog!

I'm going to have time pretty soon to try and tackle it. I think I have a plan of attack :)

Here's my (OLD) gallery. I haven't updated it since well..a really long time.

I can't remember if some of my tilt stuff is in there or not. I don't think it is.

Nice pix of the trees, btw ;)
